Chris Ward – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Chris’ first day of training Jiu Jitsu was with Royce Gracie, and he has been with the Gracie family since. He has the distinct honor to be the first ever Black Belt promoted by Rodrigo Gracie . Chris’ extensive training in gi, no gi, and mixed martial arts has helped him develop an extensive network of great teachers and training partners. Chris enjoys imparting his knowledge to students while witnessing their individual growth. Keith Walsh – Muay Thai
Keith Walsh heads up the Muay Thai Program at Fusion Training Academy. Keith has been a professional Muay Thai fighter in the US and throughout Europe, and is a Certified Trainer under Thailand trained instructor and Lumpinee Stadium fighter, Jerry Iacuzio. With over fourteen-years of competitive Thai Boxing experience and three decades in the art, Keith looks forward to seeing his students thrive and progress. Shawn Flanagan – DePasquale Yoshitsune Jujutsu
Shawn Flanagan, Sensei, is a direct student under Michael DePasquale Jr., Soke, and trained directly with Michael DePasquale, Sr until his passing in September of 2006. Shawn leads the Yoshitsune Jujutsu Training at Fusion, while also training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He is one of the highest ranking Combat Yoshitsune teachers in the country. Shawn’s 30 years of teaching expertise and patience define him as an outstanding instructor. Art Buckholz – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Art Buckholz’s Jiu-Jitsu lineage began in February of 2000 at a BJJ club associated with Master Royce Gracie in Plaistow, NH, and has continued in the Gracie mode and standard. As a Brown Belt, Art is known by his students as an instructor who cares deeply about those he teaches and who is profoundly dedicated to the art and the skill of BJJ. Art has participated in numerous competitions, and has earned high praise and recognition. Chad Hancock – Boxing
Chad Hancock is a former Marine Corp Boxer and Golden Glove Boxer. Chad learned while in high school while growing up in Missouri. Chad has a strong foundation in the true basics of boxing—footwork, jabs, straights, hooks, and uppercuts—and is an inspirational and energetic instructor.. Sarah Marie – Womens Kickboxing
Sarah Marie has been studying the art of Muay Thai for two-years under the instruction of Keith Walsh. With a strong understanding of various Thai techniques, she now teaches a Kickboxing class for women, helping them to become more physically fit and mentally sharp. Sarah is an inspiration for the entire Fusion Academy, and a motivational force as an instructor. |
